MPLUS ANIMATION

The animations featured below were designed and produced to increase understandings of safe sex practices and address low perceptions of personal risk to HIV/AIDS by researching the sexual practices of men that have sex with men (MSM), including transgenders and Thai and migrant male sex workers (MSW) .

As Mplus+ moves to further develop and implement their peer education programmes, they view the animations as central resources that will provide MSM and MSW with scenarios, context specific to their location in Chiang Mai. The animations provide the catalyst for MSM and MSW to ask questions about condoms. They provide peer educators with screen-based resources to help MSM and MSW negotiate their consistent use, establish norms of condom use across social contexts—including sex work—and provide access to information and services for managing STIs.
