MPLUS FOUNDATION has been a national backbone organization that specializes in the prevention of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD), sexual health, and LGBTQ rights in Thailand. MPLUS mainly campaigns and drives activities in HIV prevention. We reach out to Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM), Male Sex Workers (MSW), and Transgender Women (TGW) population in Chiang Mai through Drop-In Center (DIC) where Friend-To-Friend active learning activities to prevent HIV & STDs, as well as referring services to receive HIV & STDs testing are provided. Our advocacy efforts also include creating media content, managing organization–public relations, radio broadcasting to educate safe sex, HIV & STDs protection, and fostering positive attitudes toward our target groups. We have hosted campaigns, seminars, and exhibitions to promote understandings to target groups and individuals across a broad spectrum of backgrounds e.g., police officers, bar owners, government officers, and teachers.
